(My 7, 2009) 聙聯 麻豆视频聙聶s Solo Events Board has approved a new supplemental class聙聰Street Touring庐 R (Roadster), for competition in 2010.The approval comes after considerable member support to expand the ST category to include a class for modern roadsters. While many cars are eligible, member feedback helped establish the Honda S2000 and Mazda Miata as the class聙聶 performance targets. Allowances will be tailored for eligible vehicles to establish performance parity.The class will have the following requirements and restrictions: 聽聽聽聽- Two seat sports cars 聽聽聽聽- Engine displacements up to 2.8-liters 聽聽聽聽- No forced inductionEligible vehicles will include, but is not limited to: 聽聽聽聽- All STS eligible vehicles per the requirements and restrictions, plus 聽聽聽聽- Honda S2000 聽聽聽聽- Mazda Miata 聽聽聽聽- Mazda MX-5 Miata 聽聽聽聽- Toyota MR2 聽聽聽聽- Toyota MR2 聙聯 Spyder 聽聽聽聽- BMW Z3 (non M) 聽聽聽聽- BMW Z4 (non M) 聽聽聽聽- Mazda RX-7 (non-turbo) 聽聽聽聽- Porsche Boxster 聽聽聽聽- Porsche 968 聽聽聽聽- Porsche 944 (non-turbo) 聽聽聽聽- Pontiac Solstice 聽聽聽聽- Saturn SkyExcluded vehicles due to performance potential: 聽聽聽聽- Lotus carsAdditional class notes include: 聽聽聽聽- Tire Allowances: 聽聽聽聽 聽聽聽聽o AWD 聙聯 225mm 聽聽聽 聽聽聽聽聽o 2WD 聙聯 245mm 聽聽聽聽- Wheel Allowances: 聽聽 聽聽聽聽聽聽o AWD 聙聯 7.5聙聺 聽聽聽 聽聽聽聽聽o 2WD 聙聯 8.5聙聺 聽聽聽聽- Catalytic Converters: 聽 聽聽聽聽聽聽聽o Same as ST, STS allowance. 聽聽聽聽- Limited Slip Differentials: 聽聽聽 聽聽聽聽聽o STR: Only standard LSDs allowed OR Allowance same as STX, STUThe class will run with supplemental status in 2010, meaning that no National Champion will be crowned. OE LSD vs. Aftermarket LSD: All of the target vehicles are available with Limited Slip Differentials (or electronic equivalents) as standard equipment in some optional configuration. Restricting all cars to OE limited slips would reduce costs. That said, not all factory LSDs are equal and an argument can be made that, for reasons of parity, aftermarket parts should be allowed. 聽聽聽聽2.
