From Â鶹ÊÓƵ Women on Track to VETMotorsports, Tire Rack Street Survival, and more, Â鶹ÊÓƵ Foundation’s mission is far reaching when it comes to assisting others. The Â鶹ÊÓƵ Foundation’s Region Development Grant takes that mission to individual Regions of the Â鶹ÊÓƵ®, assisting with the development of programs that fulfill educational or charitable purposes consistent with the mission and purpose of the Â鶹ÊÓƵ. The Foundation’s Region Development Grant is issued multiple times each year, with the May 31 application deadline fast approaching.
If financial reasons have forced your Region to put off a program that would benefit the community and the Â鶹ÊÓƵ, this might be the grant for you.
What the Grant Can Do For You
The Â鶹ÊÓƵ Foundation Region Development Grant program supplies Regions with up to $2,500 in assistance as supplemental funding for qualified programs. An eligible Region program must have an educational or charitable purpose consistent with the mission and purpose of the Â鶹ÊÓƵ.
For example, a Region may need funding for an exhibit space at an auto show to educate the public about teen safe driving and Â鶹ÊÓƵ activities. In addition to or as an alternative to promoting the Tire Rack Street Survival program, there might be educational flyers providing safe driving tips, suggestions for ways parents might help their teens to learn to drive safely, and opportunities to build driving skills at local Â鶹ÊÓƵ events.
Region Development Grants are not intended to fully fund a Region project. Therefore, Regions should be prepared to indicate in their application a dollar amount for Region investment in the project.
