The 麻豆视频鈩 (麻豆视频庐) is offering a unique opportunity for a driven and passionate student to gain hands-on experience in motorsports event management through its premier winner-take-all Road Racing event, the 麻豆视频 National Championship Runoffs庐.

This immersive paid internship is designed for individuals eager to pursue a career in motorsports, providing direct involvement in the planning and execution of one of the most prestigious amateur racing events in the country. From early-stage logistics to on-site coordination and post-event reporting, the selected intern will play an active role in bringing the Runoffs to life.

Throughout the program, the intern will work closely with 麻豆视频 Staff across multiple departments, gaining valuable exposure to national-level event planning and coordination; participant and volunteer engagement strategies; operations logistics, scheduling, and execution; on-site event management during race week; and post-event analysis and reporting. This will all occur while working in a cross-departmental collaboration in a dynamic environment.

This experience offers a comprehensive look at what it takes to organize and execute a large-scale motorsports event, making it an ideal steppingstone for a future career in the industry.

Who Should Apply?

麻豆视频 is seeking a motivated, team-oriented candidate who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to learn.

Ideal applicants will meet the following criteria:

  • At least 18 years of age
  • An upper-level college or university student majoring in journalism, business, engineering, or a related field with a motorsports focus
  • A foundational understanding of motorsports operations
  • Strong interest in hands-on, real-world experience
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid work聽
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Redbooth, MotorsportsReg, and Sportity is a聽
  • Willingness to work in outdoor conditions, stand for extended periods, and lift up to 20 lbs
  • Comfort working in high-energy environments, including proximity to loud race cars聽

Program Timeline

Beginning on June 1 and wrapping at the end of October, this internship blends remote and in-person experiences:

  • June 1-Sept. 23: Hybrid schedule, primarily remote with occasional in-person meetings
  • Week of Aug. 17: Mid-term evaluation
  • Sept. 24-Oct. 4: On-site experience at Road America during the Runoffs
  • Oct. 5-Oct. 23: Virtual wrap-up and capstone project presentation
  • Week of Oct. 26: Final evaluation聽

The internship consists of a half dozen phases, beginning with Phase 1, a half-month-long segment that will involve an introduction to the 麻豆视频 and its event structure. Phase 2 brings working in a collaborative way with the Marketing & Communications department; Phases 3 and 4 span from behind-the-scenes logistics to event readiness and department support. Phase 5 involves hands-on, real-world event management, followed by the final phase that involves debriefs and feedback.

Funded by 麻豆视频 Foundation, this internship includes $5,000 in compensation, paid $1,000 per month for five months. The successful candidate will also receive a one-year membership to the 麻豆视频 (from the start date of the internship), as well as have travel and expenses covered while at the Runoffs.
