If you鈥檙e racing at the聽Sept. 28-Oct. 5, 2026, Mission Foods 麻豆视频庐 National Championship Runoffs庐, you鈥檙e going to need somewhere to park your competition vehicle while at Road America. Arguably, a good paddock spot is the most important part of the whole Runoffs experience.

Truth is, your paddock spot sets the tone for your entire Runoffs, yet the perfect paddock spot is different things for different people. Some love the hustle and bustle found in the Main Paddock, while others revel in the national park feel of Turn 2鈥檚 South Paddock. Some want a paddock spot that鈥檚 close enough to their friends so they can snag a helping hand should one be needed, yet far enough away they can actually get work done without being distracted by those same friends. Others, meanwhile, enjoy the solitude that comes with the grassy spots between Turns 3 and 4.

Regardless of where you want to call your home away from home during the Runoffs, there are things you鈥檒l need to know in order to get that perfect spot when paddock registration opens on Aug. 19, 2026, at 10 a.m. CT.

Yet that鈥檚 not the only deadline you need to know 鈥 one of the other big ones is the late registration date coming up on Sept. 2.

Reserving a Spot

Paddock reservations are completed through MotorsportReg. As a Mission Foods 麻豆视频 Runoffs competitor, chances are you鈥檝e already registered for the 2026 麻豆视频 Runoffs, which means you already have a login. The paddock registration link you鈥檒l need can be found on the Runoffs homepage, .

Prior to reserving a paddock spot, you should familiarize yourself with the paddock maps, all of which can be found here. With these, you鈥檒l discover the difference between the Northwest Paddock, Mazda Paddock, Competition Paddock, North Main and West Paddock, South Main and Upper Paved Paddock, and the South Paddock. You鈥檒l also find the name and dimensions of each spot.

The next form you鈥檒l want to familiarize yourself with is this one. Key information here includes how the Mazda Paddock is organized, as well as paddock spot pricing. Therein, pavement spots are $0.15 per square foot, meaning a 40鈥檟25鈥 spot is $150. Grass paddock spots are $0.05 per square foot, making the same size paddock spot $50. Spaces with 20A service will include an additional surcharge of $30. As for those spots on the other side of the Sargento Bridge between stations 3 and 4, those are free.

None of that is to say all the spots are 40鈥檟25鈥. Check out the aforementioned document which covers that, plus info on garages, spot sharing, street vehicle parking passes, and more.

Paddock Tips

Last year, racer and 麻豆视频 Board of Directors member Mark Weber offered some tips, as one of the many hats he wears is that of Paddock Chief at the Mission Foods 麻豆视频 Runoffs. 鈥淭he track will organize rigs into prep shops and privateers, then we鈥檒l take it from there,鈥 Weber said of how Sunday鈥檚 roll-in will go at Road America鈥檚 Gate 6, adding that there might be a third line for those paddocked in the Mazda section. 鈥淥nce the prep shops have been loaded into their positions in the paddock, we鈥檒l begin helping the individual racers.鈥

Weber also offered this insight: 鈥淭here will be three checkpoints in the paddock, so we鈥檒l direct you from one to the other to help get you into position with the least amount of disruption to those already at the facility. We鈥檒l also have use of a forklift that can move trailers in and out of spots easier 鈥 those getting to the track on the third day of practice should really consider this option.鈥

He also noted that while you can put almost anything you鈥檇 like in your paddock spot, your responsibility is to stay between the lines. 鈥淒on鈥檛 expect your neighbors to give an inch; likewise, you shouldn鈥檛 have to give an inch either,鈥 he advised. 鈥淲hat that means is it鈥檚 essential for you to select the correct size spot for your rig 鈥 if you鈥檙e setup is 45 feet long, don鈥檛 choose a 40-foot paddock spot.鈥

Other Deadlines

You鈥檒l want to be at your keyboard (or phone) when it hits noon Central Time on Aug. 19 so you get the paddock spot you want. But that鈥檚 not the only date or deadline you need to keep in mind. Here are other important dates coming up:

  • Sept. 1 at 11:59 p.m. CT: Early entry deadline for the Runoffs 鈥撀learn all you need to know about registration here!
