On Saturday, Sept. 5, 2026, the tarmac at Lincoln Airpark in Lincoln, NE, was humming. On the southern side of the 100-acre concrete site, the Tire Rack Â鶹ÊÓƵ® ProSolo® Finale was in full swing, but just north of those mirror-image courses, a different group of autocrossers met for their own battle. The competition was intense as 91 drivers from across the country tried for a top spot at the Tire Rack Â鶹ÊÓƵ Lincoln Shootout 

In the Ladies Index class, 12 ladies took their five runs, and in the end, 0.8sec separated the top seven, with Ali Wilson in her CSX Miata taking the win. Meanwhile, in the 14-car Street Tire Index class, Brent Schneekloth earned the win in his BST Mitsubishi Evo over a variety of cars on street tires.

Spanning the three CAM classes were 33 drivers in American muscle cars. David Rock won CAM-S, Dave Whitworth took the top spot in CAM-C, and Keith Lamming was victorious in CAM-T.

The smallest margin of victory of the day came in the Race Tire Index class, where Jason Minehart won by 0.031sec in the 12-car class.

Following class competition, 43 cars advanced to the Shootouts to see who would win the Shootout trophies sponsored by Speedway Motors. When the dust settled, the winners were:

• Spec Car Class Index: Tom Blankenship, CSM Ford Mustang
• Ladies Index: Ali Wilson, CSX Mazda Miata
• Race Tire Index: Jason Minehart, EM Stalker
• CAM Index: David Rock, CAM-S Chevrolet Corvette
• Xtreme Index: Andrew McGibbon, XB Mazda Miata
• Street Tire Index: Brent Schneekloth, BST Mitsubishi Evo

Wrapping the event, a raffle was held for a $500 Wilwood brake certificate. That went to Kurt Chenowith.
